Basic Shell~
1st Row – 1SC in each hole, SS to join
2nd Row – CH 2, 1 SC in first stitch, skip 2 stitches, *6 DC in the next stitch, skip 2 stitches, 1SC in the next stitch, skip 2 stitches**, repeat *to** SS to join.
This tends to be my ” go to” pattern. I just love how it looks on a little girls baby blanket and it is fun and easy to do!
What yarn/thread do you use and what size hook? Thanks!
I’m sorry that I missed your question earlier. I use a 100% nylon thread. You can find it at Hobby Lobby. I use a steel hook and I use whatever size is recommended for the thread I am using. It varies depending on the thread!
