Well, I’m almost there! My husband left on a business trip and my 6 month old is growing and took a 2 hour nap today so I had time to complete the whole month of November and weave in all the ends! My goal is to finish my 2016 temperature blanket before bed time tomorrow. I have so many new projects that I want to work on in 2017 but I have to finish this first!
You can see that my yarn is still attached in this picture. ย The color used for the last day in November and the first day in December is the same. It truly is interesting to see almost a years’ worth of temperatures depicted by colors and laid out in one place. You can see a few green patches mixed into the summer colors. I tracked the temperature based on where we were, so when we were camping on the coast and it was 70 degrees that is the color that I used instead of the 90 degree temperature at home.
Your temperature c2c has inspired me to do one for 2017! I am going to do the same size as you ๐ at what points did you start to decrease?
Thanks for sharing this lovely throw with us!
This looks awesome!!! I’ve been searching for a temperature blanket but they all look like they’ll be giant. This one looks perfect, not to large, if you get behind it looks easy to get caught up because you don’t have to do massive amounts of rows. And I love how the colours are turning out.
Hi I have a question about you c2c temperature blanket. I’m going to make one for each of my family members for the year they were born and really live the c2c temp one you have posted here. Would you mind telling me how many stitches you did per day? And how big this turned out? I’ve started several but ended up pulling them all out – as I didn’t care for the size.
Thank you in advance
Roberta
Hello! I LOVE your temperature blanket, and I want to try one of my own for 2017. My only question is how do I plan out the size? I’m not sure how to calculate the number of clusters there would be for a full size blanket. How did you do this when you started yours? Thanks ๐
