I am all caught up on my 2016 temperature blanket! It is so fun to see how all of these bright colors are playing out and how they work together. I am caught up through the end of July. I crochet the weeks colors every Sunday. It only takes me 30-45 minutes a week to stay caught up using this c2c pattern, it is such a fun pattern. I have 2 other afghans that I am currently working on in this same pattern!
I love seeing the bright oranges and reds working their way into the afghan! The afghan is as wide as it will be but I still have 9 more rows to add to the length before I turn the corner and start squaring it up!
I LOVE this idea for the temperature blanket, but I’m wondering how many rows (or even squares) you use per colour/day?
Thank you
Thank you! I am really enjoying working on this project! I am finishing tying in the ends through November today and I will post about it later today! In my first post about this project I shared how I worked out all of the math to make this work! My finished size will be 4’x5′ 7″. Here is the link for when I started this project – http://www.deenascraftcorner.com/?p=201
This looks amazing! I haven’t seen it done in c2c. I was just wondering how you decide how many stitches you do for every day?
Thank you! I’m loving this project! I am almost done so watch over the next couple of days to see my finished project. Hi, my name is Becky, i would like to know how many rows you did for every day”s temperature? I’m not understanding how you are getting the beautiful colors to run like they are.
Thank you, I am really loving how this project is working out. The temperature really varies where I live, so it has been fun to see how it flows through the year. I crochet 20 “blocks” each day. My high temperature of the day is what determines what color I use. If you click on the following link you can see my post about when I began this project and how I determined the math to make it all work! If you put – temperature blanket in the search at the top of the page you can see all my posts on this project! – http://www.deenascraftcorner.com/?p=201
